About the Role

Operates the divider and/or any other applicable machinery in a team environment, supporting the Team Leader and demonstrating teamwork and respect for fellow team members.

Responsibilities

  • Operates divider machine and any other applicable equipment to ensure dough is divided consistently per FGF Brands requirements.
  • Records applicable data (i.e. weight, temperature, and other parameters) on supplied work sheets.
  • Weighs product regularly to ensure correct machine division and adjusts machine as needed.
  • Uses industrial-sized spatula to ensure all product batter is scraped into the machine.
  • Provides break relief to team members in depositing area, including heavy-duty tasks like pan loading/racking, rack moving, and oven loading/unloading.
  • Reports equipment malfunctions and quality issues to appropriate parties.
  • Adheres to company GMPs and Health and Safety policies.
  • Provides training as required to ensure an effective and efficient work force.
  • Ensures a safe and clean working environment by enforcing company standards and following up on regular inspections.
  • Cleans their area regularly to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Fills up the flour dusters on the line.
  • Assists with uninstalling, cleaning, and reinstalling parts during changeovers.
  • Performs General Labor duties and additional assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (food/bakery experience is desirable).
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to detect quality issues.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physically capable of performing the demands of the role, including frequently lifting up to 20 kg.
  • Ability to move from one task to another with minimal distraction.
  • Flexible to work days, afternoons, nights, and weekends if needed.

Salary/Compensations

  • $24.15/hour plus $1 premium for night hours and $2 premium for weekend hours.
