About the Role

The Marketing Manager assists with the development, implementation, and management of online marketing programs and events, including website curation, social media, SEO, and content. This role coordinates with agencies and staff to maximize revenue and ensure brand identity is consistently represented across all channels.

Responsibilities

  • Create forward-looking identity statements to drive messaging across events, online, social media, PR, and collateral
  • Direct and manage the development of creative materials for marketing goals
  • Develop communication materials including flyers, signs, and eblasts
  • Manage online presence and create engaging content for branded and third-party websites
  • Conduct and track email marketing campaigns
  • Utilize reporting from agencies and Google Analytics to drive marketing decisions
  • Oversee and manage social media strategy and accounts
  • Manage promotional campaigns, including creative requests and communication plans
  • Recommend marketing changes based on technology and business needs
  • Develop and implement Public Relations initiatives
  • Coordinate with PR agencies to support property initiatives
  • Maintain a chronological media library and electronic files of advertising materials
  • Update hotel websites using content management systems
  • Develop and distribute creative briefs for internal events, influencer stays, and media opportunities
  • Support planning and execution of internal events and offsite tradeshows
  • Ensure events align with department objectives and assess post-event performance
  • Coordinate pitch processes for new event initiatives
  • Manage internal events and serve as the key contact for activities
  • Manage event budgets, including logging and forecasting spend
  • Create action and reference documents for future events
  • Write, format, and edit marketing and communications materials
  • Curate and develop relationships with brand-supporting vendors
  • Execute marketing plans, including budget allocation and creative team orchestration
  • Collaborate with sales, executive teams, and partners on asset creation and strategy
  • Triage, prioritize, and execute print and online marketing projects
  • Manage campaign data gathering, analysis, and reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a marketing position
  • Graphic design experience using tools like Canva or Adobe
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent comprehension and literacy for reading and preparing contracts
  • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Professional appearance and manner
  • Computer literacy, specifically MS Word
  • Ability to communicate expectations, results, and goals
  • Self-starting and accountability
  • Ability to occasionally stand, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs
