About the Role

We are seeking a growth-oriented Chef Manager to lead our healthcare food service operations and ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence, patient satisfaction, food safety, and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of culinary and food service operations, including food production, inventory management, purchasing, ordering, and receiving.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare food safety and sanitation standards, including HACCP principles and regulatory requirements.
- Manage food and labor costs, budgeting, and operational performance while maintaining high-quality food and service standards.
- Develop nutritious, appealing menus that support patient, resident, and retail dining needs while meeting dietary and therapeutic requirements.
- Lead, train, and develop culinary and food service team members to deliver outstanding service and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with clinical and healthcare teams to support nutrition, wellness, and patient care initiatives.
- Implement effective purchasing and inventory controls with an emphasis on quality, cost management, and responsible sourcing practices.
- Promote sustainability initiatives and reduce food waste whenever possible.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of culinary management experience in a healthcare, senior living, hospital, contract food service, or high-volume dining environment.
- Strong experience with menu planning, food production, purchasing, inventory management, and cost controls.
- Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic diets, patient dining services, food quality, sanitation, and presentation standards.
- Experience managing budgets and P&L accountability is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Experience with catering, retail dining, and special events is a plus.
