About the Role
Partner with a Regional Director to drive sales, support, and service for IBD partners within an assigned region, focusing on open-end alternative investment funds and traditional mutual funds. Performance is measured by gross fund flows, assets under management, sales activities, client expansion and retention, and team contribution.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Regional Director (External Wholesaler) to develop and execute on business plans.
- Cultivate and deepen relationships with IBDs through high-quality, pro-active interactions.
- Handle daily territory management tasks to ensure business efficacy and effective prioritization of resources.
- Provide exceptional client service, addressing technical, product, and competitive positioning inquiries with expertise and efficiency.
- Articulate Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions' sophisticated products.
- Actively manage and progress the team’s pipeline, meticulously tracking new opportunities.
- Utilize the CRM system to log all client activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry, or as an internal sales associate.
- Alternative investment experience preferred.
- Independent Broker Dealer (IBD) channel experience is highly preferred.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 license required.
- CAIA, MBA, CFA a plus.
- Highly proactive and resourceful self-starter, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a focus on achieving results.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
