About the Role

The Technician I, Supply Chain role supports the supply chain and logistics needs of a manufacturing facility, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This position is site-based and focuses on managing material flow, inventory accuracy, and procurement to ensure production needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Follow OmniaBio’s policies, standard operating procedures, and GMP documentation, adhering to Good Documentation Practice.
  • Perform packouts of pharmaceutical materials according to validated methods and track shipments and supplier performance.
  • Receive, document, repalletize, and store materials in both OmniaBio facilities and external storage areas.
  • Adhere to procedures for material put-aways based on storage conditions and industry quarantine and release methodologies.
  • Coordinate customer shipments, ensuring all requirements (tracking, temperature, delivery time) are met.
  • Utilize the SAP enterprise resource planning system for supply chain activities.
  • Participate in cycle counts, physical inventory, and other inventory reconciliation processes.
  • Adhere to and maintain health and safety policies and practices.
  • Participate in investigations to determine the root cause of non-conformance activities.
  • Adopt the OmniaBio Operating Model and embrace continuous improvement.
  • Advise the Supply Chain Manager/Supervisor of any issues impacting customer service.
  • Engage in training and development and take on increased responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher qualification.
  • Experience within a warehouse environment utilizing documented procedures.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift or carry up to 35 pounds.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
