Responsibilities
- Receive and check merchandise.
- Keep the backstore well organized.
- Organize and account for merchandise receipts and shipment orders, identifying potential errors.
- Label merchandise with the correct price and correct if necessary.
- Prepare products for transfer to other stores or the distribution centre.
- Place products on the sales floor efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized backstore.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
Requirements
- Enjoy physical work, including lifting heavy merchandise.
- Be organized, efficient, methodical, autonomous, and resourceful.
- Willing to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods.
- Open to working holidays and longer hours during busy periods.
Skills
- Experience handling goods (an asset)
