About the Role
Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home in the Bronx, New York, is dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. The hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care, guided by a philosophy of non-abandonment.
Responsibilities
- Provides acute and rehabilitative care for people with selected disorders of the gastro-intestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.
- Provides direct care to patients with stomas, wounds, fistulas, drains, pressure ulcers, tubes and incontinence.
- Serves as an educator, consultant, and researcher.
- Plays a pivotal role in the guidance of optimal patient care.
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License/Registration.
- Current certifications in Wound and Ostomy Nursing or Wound Care Certified.
- Membership in Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Society (preferred).
- Minimum of two years Medical/Surgical nursing experience.

Salary/Compensations
- $129,748 - $155,948
