About the Role

This role is at the intersection of law, technology, and global ambition, helping talented founders, engineers, and executives navigate the US immigration system. It's a hybrid role combining legal practice with innovation, partnering with engineering and product teams to enhance an AI-powered platform. You will have direct access to the CEO and influence on product and strategy, with growing scope as Concord expands.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, accurate legal counsel on H-1B, L-1, E-2, E-3, O-1, EB-1A/B, and PERM processes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients from first-time founders to enterprise HR teams.
  • Guide clients through documentation, timelines, filing strategy, and USCIS/DOL processes.
  • Manage a varied, stimulating caseload independently.
  • Partner with Concord's engineering and product teams to embed legal knowledge into the proprietary platform.
  • Identify friction points in the immigration process and co-design features to eliminate them.
  • Shape the product roadmap with direct input on automating and scaling legal workflows.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes and ensure the platform reflects the latest in immigration law.
  • Represent Concord in client-facing presentations, webinars, and industry discussions.
  • Contribute to guides and resources to educate clients and establish Concord's market voice.
  • Help build the team and culture.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active Arizona bar license OR eligible for Arizona Admission on Motion.
  • 2–5 years of substantive US business immigration experience (H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, EB-1, PERM, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-track caseloads with accuracy and autonomy.
  • Genuine curiosity about legal technology and its evolution in immigration law.
  • Exceptional communication skills, comfortable explaining strategy to diverse audiences.
  • Energized by fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Desire to build something beyond a traditional billable-hour career.
  • View AI as an opportunity for better legal work.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and defining new processes.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally.
