About the Role

Metergy Solutions Inc. is seeking a Meter Engineering co-op with a strong background in technical writing, data analysis, and the development of learning management systems (LMS) to join their team for a 4-month work term. The role involves optimizing processes, documenting technical procedures, managing projects, and developing training materials for submetering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, and optimize processes related to submetering systems.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Create engineered models using data from the field and service providers.
  • Create client-facing reports using engineered calculations and analysis.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and easily understood by technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to gather information for documentation.
  • Design and develop a comprehensive learning management system (LMS) for training employees and clients.
  • Create training materials, including video tutorials, e-learning modules, and interactive content.
  • Manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the LMS.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in submetering and energy management.
  • Innovate and improve existing submetering solutions.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new products and features.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in process engineering, technical writing, project management, and LMS development.
  • Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., JIRA) and technical writing tools.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
