About the Role

Metergy Solutions Inc. is seeking a Drafting Technician to join their team. This role involves performing drafting for submetering projects, including layout, detailing, and creating/updating CAD standards. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant carbon emission reductions within a rapidly growing company that has a strong track record in the submetering industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform drafting for metering layout and detailing for water, wastewater, electrical, thermal, and gas projects.
• Read architectural and structural building designs.
• Create electrical design drawings for various projects.
• Create and update CAD standard details.

Requirements

• Available for 8 or 12 months.
• 0-3 years of drafting experience using the latest version of AutoCAD.
• High school diploma.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Self-motivated, team player, and eager to learn.
