Responsibilities
- Maintains thorough knowledge of Transportation Services and conveys pertinent information to employees regarding policy or scheduling changes.
- Maintains frequent communication with all work areas to ensure guest service efficiency and performance standards are achieved.
- Assists the Manager with employee training/development and monitors business flow to develop efficient training, break and shift schedules.
- Consistently assists the Transportation Manager in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient departmental operation.
- Regularly monitors the inventory of all supplies and orders supplies when needed.
- Assists in the review of payroll reports for accurate work hour totals and makes adjustments when needed.
- Inspects vehicles daily for internal and external cleanliness and ensures limos are stocked for guest departure/pick up.
- Responds to guest complaints in an appropriate and timely manner, demonstrating sound decision making skills.
- Coordinates limo services for VIP’s and entertainers.
- Is consistently visible to staff and proactively coordinates transportation for events.
- Monitors employees and documents any inconsistencies in performance. Follows-up with coaching/counseling and disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Closely monitors expenses with sound tracking such as fuel usage.
- Ensures buses and other vehicles are in proper usage rotation.
- Works with a third party transportation service when necessary to confirm requested runs when in-house fleet isn’t available.
- Monitors bus drivers, bus patterns and timing to ensure efficiency.
Requirements
- Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have previous supervisory experience in a Hotel environment.
- Must have excellent communications skills.
- Must possess good leadership skills.
- Must possess computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must possess outstanding guest service skills.
- Must have the ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
