About the Role

This role is crucial for ensuring veteran students at NGT Academy achieve their tech career goals. You will support service members and veterans using educational benefits, guiding them towards successful completion and job placement.

Responsibilities

• Achieve student outcomes, including completions, certifications, and job placements.
• Maintain a caseload withdrawal rate below 5%.
• Adhere to a defined check-in cadence: two calls in the first month and monthly one-on-ones.
• Proactively identify and intervene with students who are falling behind.
• Hold students accountable to their self-set goals with empathy.
• Maintain detailed student notes in HubSpot.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Training, Career Services, and the Student Success Administrator.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of military education benefits (GI Bill, VR&E) or ability to learn quickly.
• Familiarity with military culture and the transition to civilian careers.
• 2+ years in student support, advising, or success roles, preferably in education or training.
• Ability to be empathetic yet firm in holding students accountable.
• Organized and detail-oriented with experience tracking students in a CRM.
• Comfort using data to identify and address issues proactively.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with students and internal teams.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace.
• Experience supporting military-connected students (bonus).
• Background in IT education or technical training (bonus).
• HubSpot or comparable CRM experience (bonus).
