Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance functions on shift at the assigned location, ensuring safe performance in accordance with schedule requirements and company, regulatory, and manufacturer procedures.
  • Lead and assign work to the team and related personnel to meet company and customer requirements, goals, and objectives.
  • Adhere to all applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBA), ensure the team has appropriate resources, and hold them accountable for assigned/performed work.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the on-shift labor workforce to maximize productivity and output while ensuring necessary resources are available.
  • Build and reinforce a fair and respectful work environment through consistent application of CBA work rules and company policies.
  • Execute station performance goals and objectives aligning with divisional and company goals.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of operational, safety, and human resource-related performance objectives.
  • Implement and sustain continuous improvement activities and oversee safety and security of work group operations to ensure regulatory compliance of technical operations activities.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with employee groups within the work group.
  • Report status of operations, highlighting significant events to leadership, and provide direction to assigned personnel to ensure shop and divisional objectives are achieved.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid FAA A&P License
  • 2+ years engine and/or machine maintenance experience or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of engine overhaul or maintenance processes
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
