About the Role
Join our leadership team where you will coach and develop your warehouse management team, build a culture of servant leadership, and remain very hands-on with the entire warehouse associates along with a team of dedicated fleet drivers. You will focus on engagement, building a 'One Team' culture, reducing turnover and driving performance that delivers on our Stockholder, Customer and Associate promises.
Responsibilities
- Ensures safety, productivity and quality in all distribution operations.
- Designs, develops and manages the distribution department budget.
- Refurbishes and enhances site infrastructure and equipment to support site efforts in growth and meeting objectives.
- Continues efforts to build maintenance performance metrics and train all staff in those measures to optimize performance and return on investment.
- Ensures associates have the tools and training necessary to do the job.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ensures that work is performed consistently with company policies and procedures.
- Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a management role, with direct and indirect reports
- 1+ years of experience in a high volume distribution center
- Exposure to Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong history of driving culture and employee engagement while driving performance.
- Administration Experience (Workday/Kronos)
- SAP Operating System Experience, proficiency with MS Excel and reporting.
