About the Role
The Housekeeping/EVS Worker I is responsible for performing cleaning and service functions in patient and non-patient areas within hospital facilities and owned buildings, ensuring a sanitary, safe, and pleasant environment in compliance with regulations and hospital policies.
Responsibilities
- Receive and follow cleaning assignments as directed
- Clean assigned office and common areas
- Clean up after accidents or abnormal spills
- Report damage or abuse of property, maintenance concerns, and any fire or safety hazards
- Clean and store all equipment and supplies
- Perform additional duties as delegated by the Manager/Supervisor
- Support laundry services as delegated
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- Experience in healthcare preferred
