About the Role

This internship involves performing moderate difficulty duties and research functions to develop a working knowledge of a specific area of study, coordinating with other student interns.

Responsibilities

• Engage in recruitment and outreach activities at ACC campuses.
• Develop liaisons with Student Services.
• Maintain an active social media presence.
• Conduct classroom presentations.
• Generate videos and web content.
• Host Honors events such as Honors Week and Honors Program information sessions.
• Support the HSO (Honors Student Organization).
• Coordinate schedules of other student interns.
• Organize presentations and tabling.

Requirements

• Must have taken at least one ACC Honors course.
• At least one year in Intern I position.
• Work safely and follow safety rules.
• Report unsafe working conditions and behavior.
• Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
• Employees are required to maintain a domicile in the State of Texas while working for the college and throughout the duration of employment.
