About the Role
Join our team as a MoonTower Barista on the UT campus. This role is responsible for taking orders, preparing coffee and espresso drinks, and handling food according to HACCP guidelines. You will ensure order accuracy, manage inventory, and interact with customers and colleagues in a friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Takes customer orders and expedites coffee-espresso drinks and related food and beverage items.
- Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and maintains quality standards.
- Adheres to standard recipes and portion guidelines.
- Ensures accuracy of all assembled orders.
- Maintains par stocks and orders supplies.
- Rotates product for maximum quality.
- Interacts with customers and other employees in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Maintains accurate production pars and inventories.
- Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering.
- Completes production and par lists, pre-meal checklists, requisitioning, and waste lists.
- Adheres to policies and procedures for guest experience consistency.
- Enters orders accurately into the POS device, accepts payments, and makes change.
- Follows standard procedures for refunds.
- Manages assigned change funds and cash receipts.
- Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general supplies.
- Maintains cleanliness of the service area.
Requirements
- Must have full-time availability Monday-Friday.
- Must have English proficiency and conversational skills.
- Must have valid and current authorization to legally work in the U.S.
