About the Role

The Consumer Engagement Lifecycle Marketing team drives portfolio growth through meaningful touchpoints that deepen engagement and loyalty with existing Cardholders. This role is dedicated to the Walgreens portfolio, leading end-to-end customer lifecycle marketing with a cardholder-first approach. You will strategically identify opportunities for sales growth while excelling at execution, partnering closely with the Walgreens Marketing Leader and cross-functional teams. A strong understanding of Cobrand and/or general-purpose card marketing is essential for building loyalty and maintaining top-of-wallet position. This role reports to the VP, Cobrand Lifecycle Marketing Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Portfolio Marketing leader to develop and implement customer lifecycle plans to drive portfolio growth.
  • Design and execute existing customer communications to accelerate card usage, owning early engagement, tenured, and retention cardholder journeys.
  • Optimize and innovate marketing programs for the unique Walgreens customer needs.
  • Drive innovation in marketing programs to shift share of wallet and drive loyalty at scale.
  • Identify opportunities for a digital-first approach to differentiate portfolio marketing.
  • Partner with Analytics, Product, and Operations to analyze portfolio data and translate into insights and recommendations.
  • Identify customer segments for targeted test-and-learn campaigns and curate messages and offers.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign development, including forecasting, results reporting, and automation of email triggers.
  • Effectively manage external agencies for high-impact creative and cost efficiencies.
  • Articulate campaign strategy and results to key stakeholders.
  • Take the lead on other special projects as needed to drive portfolio growth.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school equivalent and 11+ years of marketing experience within the credit card industry.
  • 7+ years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Marketing leadership skills (analytic and creative) with significant exposure to consumer facing programs/products.
  • Experience with digital marketing.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Will not sponsor individuals for employment visas.

Skills

  • Experience with Cosmos, Workfront and other SYF execution platforms a plus.
  • Experience in the credit card industry, particularly Cobrand Card space.

Salary/Compensations

  • 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual
  • Eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
