About the Role

Adelphi Research conducts market research, both qualitative and quantitative, exclusively within the pharmaceutical space. Our work provides crucial insights that help bring new drugs to market, fundamentally impacting patients' lives across various conditions like oncology, neuroscience, and immunology. We are seeking curious, critical thinkers who are passionate about making a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate competence in designing qualitative studies.
  • Demonstrate competence in writing screeners and questionnaires.
  • Write screeners and prepare discussion guides with limited supervision.
  • Supervise fieldwork, manage vendor relations, and intervene effectively when necessary.
  • Conduct high-level telephone interviews, often client-monitored.
  • Conduct highly proficient in-person interviews in front of clients.
  • Analyze and prepare 'near-final' reports of detailed findings with minimal guidance.
  • Develop conclusions and draw marketing implications to address client needs collaboratively.
  • Specialize in qualitative research while being knowledgeable in both quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Work on and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, including leading projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior research staff.
  • Travel as required to conduct qualitative research.
  • Work effectively as a team member in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Interact with clients regularly, providing project updates, advising on fieldwork, and ensuring they are informed.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, demonstrating good judgment and client management skills.
  • Travel in person for client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is essential; advanced education is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a market researcher.
  • Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
