About the Role

This Project Management/Sales Co-op role focuses on exposing candidates to field supervision of construction and service projects, cost estimation, and sales to meet project plans, specifications, and financial goals. The successful candidate will assist in managing current projects from beginning to end, resolve customer, engineer, and employee issues, and support the sales engineer team with cost estimation and quote support.

Responsibilities

  • Act professionally and serve as a contact for job-related issues during construction.
  • Organize project activities and find solutions to issues based on project knowledge and estimate/budget limits.
  • Communicate promptly with customers, contractors, and employees, and follow up on all project details.
  • Read and understand mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction blueprint drawings for control systems.
  • Manage the field installation and coordination of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Provide leadership to field installers to improve competency and independence.
  • Participate in weekly job costing and other project financials for assigned projects.
  • Plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
  • Proactively work safely and ensure safety is planned and designed into job activities.

Requirements

  • Ability to work alone or in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage emergencies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required with strong communication and organization skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
