About the Role

Sinai Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Capital and Planning Strategy Team within the Capital Development Department. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future physical spaces at Sinai Health, supporting next-generation patient-centered care. The Project Manager will be instrumental in formulating large capital and strategic initiatives, working closely with clinical leaders and external consultants to ensure deliverables align with the MOHLTC Capital Planning Manual.

Responsibilities

Manage, organize, monitor, and orchestrate multiple project work streams, including visioning and model of care development.
Utilize project management and change management skills to achieve deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with clinical and non-clinical programs, services, departments, and teams.
Blend clinical/healthcare knowledge with facilitation expertise to engage stakeholders in planning and engagement sessions.
Liaise with stakeholders to identify needs and advance the organization’s physical space, focusing on patient-centered care, safety, best practices, and infection control.
Analyze projects and processes to create efficiencies and lead change for effective results.
Identify and mitigate project issues and risks with creative, evidence-informed options.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timelines and deliverables align with Sinai Health’s mission, vision, values, and strategic directions.
Meet with patients, advisors, community members, and staff to evaluate program and service needs and make recommendations.
Develop and evaluate RFPs for services such as programming, architecture, and space management expertise.
Manage consulting teams and verify their work against agreements and commitments.
Ensure consultants have necessary documentation and access to materials, coordinating approvals and plans.
Verify completion of planning activities and report results to various levels of management.
Utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills to gain buy-in and support from stakeholders.
Develop, interpret, and lead project scheduling, monitor activities, and manage schedule risk mitigation.
Facilitate the creation of early planning project budgets for capital investment approvals.
Monitor approved budget spend, commitments, and forecasts during planning phases.
Perform other duties consistent with the job classification.

Requirements

Successful completion of a University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering Technology or Construction.
5 years of experience in project management, strategic planning, capital strategy, business development, or health system planning.
Proven equivalent and related training and experience may be considered.
