About the Role

This role focuses on HVAC/R and Facilities Maintenance within modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities. It offers a mix of hands-on repair, system troubleshooting, and facility support, with opportunities for growth into leadership roles. You will be part of a rapidly growing operation in a significant industry, solving problems independently with access to a collaborative support network.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems (WIC/R, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites
• Support refrigeration and kitchen ventilation systems
• Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work
• Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues
• Provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendors
• Review reports (startup, testing, balancing) to verify system performance
• Assist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality
• Identify issues early and coordinate corrective actions

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
• Experience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration (WIC/F)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally

• $36.00 - $42.00/hour + Overtime
