About the Role

The Delivery Consultant turns a solution vision into systems that achieve outcomes by building interfaces, automations, data models, and integrations. You will run customer sessions to close the gap between designed and actual work, using judgment to evolve designs and build trust. This role requires technical skill, clear communication of trade-offs, and focus on customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Run recurring customer sessions with operators and builders to surface ground-level realities that influence system development.
  • Build interfaces, field agents, automations, data models, and integrations to translate solution visions into working systems.
  • Address design issues identified through user feedback by providing solutions, not just flagging problems.
  • Build efficiently using AI, reinvesting saved time in customer engagement.
  • Perform quality assurance on own work, focusing on user behavior and automation functionality.
  • Create reusable build patterns to extend impact beyond individual engagements.
  • Achieve full Airtable platform proficiency within 90 days, with baseline expectations for advanced work in interfaces, automations, data modeling, and integrations.

Requirements

  • AI is embedded in how you build, used across all delivery phases: designing, building, testing, and documenting.
  • 3–5 years in a client-facing delivery or implementation role with direct accountability for system functionality.
  • Hands-on technical depth in building complex systems with forms, automations, integrations, and data models, understanding tradeoffs.
  • Communicate effectively with C-level sponsors, technical stakeholders, and business SMEs.
  • Ability to identify the core need behind customer requests, present trade-offs persuasively, and redirect customers toward effective solutions.
  • Distinguish between design and change management problems and handle both.
  • Hold yourself accountable for outcomes, not just delivery.
  • Proven ability to master a complex platform quickly and apply that skill within 90 days.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Sales to drive outcomes and ensure cross-functional alignment.
