About the Role
WPP is seeking an Executive Assistant to support its teams of brand, content, and social experts. This role is crucial in matching the right content to the right audience at the right moment, supported by best-in-class automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executives to ensure accurate and efficient execution of duties.
- Manage executive calendars, making informed decisions about availability and keeping executives apprised of business issues.
- Create domestic and international travel itineraries, anticipating and planning for potential travel issues.
- Serve as a project leader for special events, including agenda creation, logistics, catering, and production.
- Create and edit documents in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with attention to detail.
- Govern deadlines, agendas, and timelines for projects and deliverables.
- Handle highly confidential information discreetly.
- Interface with the Function and support requests, partnering with other assistants.
- Liaise with Facilities, Auditors, Team Leaders, and others across the WPP network.
Requirements
- 10 years of project/program support experience.
- Minimum of 5 years supporting C-level executives.
- Proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
- Comfort working in an ambiguous, evolving environment.
- Ability to take initiative and manage programs end-to-end with minimal oversight.
- Acute attention to detail and understanding of best-in-class service/hospitality principles.
- Demonstrated success working under tight deadlines with competing and changing priorities, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- High level of personal ownership, initiative, drive, accountability, and maturity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Outlook calendar and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of media, advertising, PR, or marketing industry is a plus.
