About the Role
Madison Energy Infrastructure is entering a growth phase, requiring enhanced strategic capital market capabilities. The Senior Director will partner with leaders to evaluate opportunities, execute complex financing transactions, and support long-term growth, bringing both strategic perspective and strong execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead a strategic area of MEI's capital platform, owning a defined segment of the company's financing strategy while partnering closely across Finance to support coordinated execution.
- Partner with the Chief Financial Officer and executive leadership to evaluate financing strategies, capital allocation decisions, and strategic opportunities that support MEI's continued growth.
- Lead complex financing transactions from evaluation and structuring through execution and close, helping ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with lenders, investors, financial institutions, and external advisors to strengthen MEI's financing capabilities.
- Partner cross-functionally to bring together the right stakeholders, evaluate opportunities, execute financing initiatives, and support MEI's continued growth.
- Strengthen and scale the Finance organization by improving processes, sharing expertise, and helping build the capabilities needed to support a growing platform.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience across strategic finance, project finance, infrastructure investing, investment banking, corporate finance, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading complex financing transactions from structuring through execution.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy, infrastructure, or project-based financing structures.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills, paired with sound business judgment.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships across functions and with external partners.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities evolve and collaboration is essential.
