About the Role
As the Senior Advertising Sales Representative, you’ll manage advertising opportunities across CMAJ Group products and publications, while helping support strategic objectives and revenue growth. You bring strong business development experience, a client-first approach, and the confidence to represent the CMAJ Group externally with industry partners and stakeholders. You’re equally comfortable managing the details of the sales process, preparing client materials, analyzing advertising performance, and sharing industry insights that help strengthen our media offerings.
Responsibilities
- Manage advertising opportunities across CMAJ Group products and publications.
- Support strategic objectives and revenue growth.
- Develop and manage strong client relationships, overseeing advertising sales opportunities across multiple products, publications, or media platforms.
- Support the full sales process, including finalizing sales, entering orders into a CRM, coordinating material delivery, and assisting with collections.
- Promote products, services, or organizational initiatives through client presentations, email outreach, phone correspondence, and industry engagement.
- Respond to RFPs and prepare quotations.
- Identify new clients within targeted vertical markets.
- Maintain accurate client, sales, and production information using CRM systems.
- Share timely account updates with key stakeholders.
- Use reporting tools, including Google Analytics or similar platforms, to provide advertisers or clients with performance updates and follow-up reports.
- Develop packaging opportunities, sales materials, media kits, or client presentations.
- Contribute to sales targets, forecasting, revenue planning, and competitive market analysis.
