About the Role

The Designer I is an individual contributor responsible for design and As-Built management services, ensuring deliverables meet program guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and updates to AsBuilt GREFS, Directories and CAD files
  • Provide space planning and design solutions that meet guideline, code and ADA requirements
  • Implementation of Design Guidelines, system furniture requirements, and Building/Fire codes per local jurisdiction
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with different scopes and requirements
  • Perform assigned work while providing transparent and timely communication of progress
  • Administrative tasks to support communication, documentation, and archiving
  • Problem solve through roadblocks and pivot to support other work groups
  • Ensure work meets studio drawing standards

Requirements

  • B.A. Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architectural Studies, or relevant degree
  • 2+ years' experience in Interior Design, Architecture, and/or Systems Furniture Design field or equivalent
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, drawing standards, Fire/Building Code and ADA requirements
  • Experience developing client drawing deliverables and/or other technical project documents
  • Effective written, verbal, and visual communication
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Deadline-driven work ethic while still a team player
  • Ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced work environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams

Salary/Compensations

  • $75,300 - $81,500 annually
