About the Role

Zurich Canada is seeking a post-secondary student for an Internship/Co-op position within the Data, Analytics & AI team. This role will support business initiatives by analyzing data, developing insights, building reporting and dashboard solutions, and exploring practical uses of AI. The intern will work under direct supervision alongside experienced professionals, gaining knowledge and experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Support data analytics and AI initiatives by gathering requirements, preparing data, performing analysis, and translating findings into business insights.
Assist with the development and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and performance tracking tools using platforms such as Power BI and other analytics tools.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate manual processes, and apply AI-enabled solutions responsibly.
Document processes, prepare presentation materials, summarize insights, and communicate progress to business stakeholders.
Collaborate with colleagues across business areas to understand data needs, support project delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

Interest in data, analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, and their application to business problems.
Comfortable working with data, identifying patterns, asking questions, and deriving insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar tools is considered an asset.
