About the Role

FOX Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the Finance & Compensation team. This role offers exposure to corporate payroll, equity transactions, executive compensation, and proxy disclosure reporting, providing an opportunity to gain experience in highly visible areas of corporate finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process for payroll and equity transactions, including analyzing accruals, reviewing P&L activity, and explaining variances.
• Prepare monthly cash and non-cash reconciliations in BlackLine for payroll and equity transactions within payroll bank accounts and related general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and assist with payroll year-end reconciliations, including W-2 reconciliations.
• Partner with the Head Office Accounting team to provide analysis and insight on salary and wage-related items on a monthly basis.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle for Corporate Office compensation.
• Assist in the preparation of annual salary increase files for the Corporate Office.
• Support quarterly reconciliation activities, including payroll taxes and pension payments.
• Assist with preparing tables and supporting documentation for annual proxy disclosures and executive compensation reporting.
• Maintain SOX compliance and support internal and external audit requests.
• Maintain executive compensation contracts and payroll schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Finance, HR, Payroll, and Accounting to support compensation-related initiatives.
• Provide support to senior management on ad hoc projects and financial analyses.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Workday HCM/Financials preferred
• Experience with BlackLine preferred
• Prior exposure to payroll or compensation accounting preferred
• Public accounting experience preferred

Experience Level

• 1+ years of accounting or finance experience

Education Level

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Salary/Compensations

• $67,000.00-78,000.00 annually
