About the Role

Pomona is seeking a Vice President/Director for their Investor Relations team in London, responsible for fundraising and investor relations in Europe. The role involves managing existing investors, establishing new relationships, and creating business development opportunities across European regions.

Responsibilities

  • Building and developing relationships and contacts within the investor community, taking a proactive approach to meet and source new contacts across Europe
  • Proactive involvement through all stages of the fundraising efforts for their upcoming fund XI
  • Executing research to identify new sources of capital and proactively engage with them
  • Taking ownership of investor meetings and on-going relationship management for European investors
  • Developing a thorough understanding of Pomona’s investment strategy, becoming a subject matter expert with the aim of managing technical discussions with LPs and raising capital
  • Further establishing the brand name amongst European investors, attending conferences and events representing Pomona and its investment strategy
  • Developing and deepening relations with the European consultant community
  • Keeping up to date with market trends. Compiling market intelligence on products, LPs, and GPs
  • Work closely with the Partner in Europe, the IR team, investment team, and all internal stakeholders to address investor needs

Requirements

  • An established network of contacts and relationships within private markets investors would be beneficial.
  • This position would be well suited to an independent self-starter who is looking for a high level of personal responsibility.
  • Familiarity with Private Equity Secondaries as a strategy would be advantageous.

Salary/Compensations

  • The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
