About the Role
We are seeking fun, experienced, and professional voice and piano instructors to teach part-time at our Northwest Austin location. This teacher will be instructing IN PERSON at our school. Successful candidates will have a strong music background, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Responsibilities
- Instructing IN PERSON at our school
- Design customized lesson plans for each and every student on their schedule
- Focus on the student’s music tastes, skill set, and personal goals to optimize a music-learning experience
- Offer an exciting, engaging and encouraging environment for students to pick up an instrument
Requirements
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience
- Demonstrated love of teaching
- Experience working with young musicians
- Robust appreciation for punctuality
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a routine background check
