About the Role

The Business Intelligence Developer plays a hands-on role in enhancing and evolving data systems, developing and improving business intelligence solutions, and ensuring solutions align with business partner needs.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering requirements for change initiatives and delivering solutions through an iterative approach
  • Provide diagnostic support to the business, helping to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Participate in MUFG initiatives to promote platform usage beyond the EMEA region
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated services to the business
  • Foster a dynamic, delivery-focused culture that responds effectively to business requirements
  • Maintain system performance and stability through regular housekeeping and maintenance
  • Ensure confidential and sensitive data is managed in compliance with internal and external policies
  • Contribute to the annual Disaster Recovery and Fire Drill exercises for relevant systems
  • Ensure the platform complies with all Risk and Control requirements, including regulatory standards such as SOX and GDPR
  • Champion MUFG’s values-led culture, promoting inclusivity and diversity
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to stay informed on industry best practices, influence change, and enhance technical credibility

Requirements

  • Experience in working in a technology function that supports Front to Back Offices for Corporate banking and Securities business
  • Proven track record of working on systems covering business intelligence requirements, working directly with business partners, to capture and deliver requirements in an agile manner
  • Experience of working within geographically dispersed teams and with business stakeholders
  • Experience of supporting multi-terabyte data warehouses and performance features
  • Experience of delivering large scale software projects
  • Experienced in dealing with a third party vendor or service providers
