About the Role
Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, shaping the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities. Responsibilities
- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues.
- Focus on the customer by offering a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items.
- Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks.
- Support opening and closing store activities.
- Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
- Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy.
- Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
- Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects.
- Close visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.
