About the Role

U.S. Bank is seeking a strong team leader for its Institutional Client Group (mid-cap). This role provides direction, strategic decisions, business decisions, and overall leadership by managing middle market/commercial banking loan activity for a major geographical area. The primary focus is on expanding and servicing large and complex loans to customers within a region, emphasizing relationship management, customer dedication, quality, accountability, deposit growth, and fee income growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction, strategic decisions, business decisions, and overall leadership by managing middle market/commercial banking loan activity for a major geographical area.
  • Expands and services a variety of large and highly complex loans to customers in a region.
  • Takes a leadership role in all aspects of relationship management, including dedication to customers, quality, accountability, deposit growth, and fee income growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related field
  • 15 or more years of banking experience
  • Eight or more years of management experience
  • Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills
  • Applicants must be able to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies.
