About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Ollivander program in Denver, CO. This role involves developing cutting-edge solutions for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, focusing on national security challenges in the space domain.

Responsibilities

• Development and debugging of application service code in Java
• Development and debugging of UI code using Angular / Typescript
• Docker container development
• Kubernetes deployment and debugging
• Helm chart updates for different deployment environments
• AWS cloud development, deployment and troubleshooting
• Participation in sprint planning and execution

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• STEM Bachelor’s degree
• Java and/or Angular development experience
• Ability to develop for and debug complex distributed systems
• Understanding of complex technical issues
• Apply critical thinking in complex and dynamic organizational environments
• Strong communication skills (technical writing, developing presentations, briefing, etc.)
• Ability to work independently or with a small team
• Ability to obtain a Security+ certificate in the first 6 to 12 months of employment
