About the Role
Wolseley Canada is seeking a permanent and full-time AZ truck driver to support its GTA MDC location. Join a company that values its employees and offers opportunities for growth and career development.
Responsibilities
- Transport material to and from customer sites, branches, and other locations.
- Obtain necessary shipping documentation for assigned routes.
- Load items and orders into the truck, adhering to delivery schedules.
- Consolidate items and skids to maximize truck space using a pump truck.
- Strap and secure material to prevent damage during transport.
- Deliver orders to destinations using the most effective or assigned itinerary.
- Unload products according to destination rules.
- Obtain signatures for acknowledgment of delivery.
Requirements
- Valid Class AZ license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience.
- Clean driver's abstract required (no traffic tickets, points, or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable, reliable, and willing to take initiative.
- Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
- Forklift certified or ability to be certified.
Skills
- Valid Boom Truck Crane Operator Certification is an asset.
- Valid Vehicle Mounted Lift Truck Certification is an asset.
- WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.
- Certification for Transportation of Dangerous Goods considered an asset.
- Motorized Material Handling Equipment Certification considered an asset.

Salary/Compensations
- Base salary: $60,320 +4% PSP
