About the Role

Heritage Family of Companies is seeking a Full-time Yard Associate to support daily yard and warehouse operations. This role involves material receiving, stocking, and organization, while adhering to safety standards and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in the yard and warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard and warehouse.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using proper lifting techniques.
• Check and verify orders, complete shipping and receiving paperwork, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously.
• Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards.
• Work performed in an outdoor setting/warehouse environment with potential noise, hot or cold temperatures.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience operating skid steer and/or front-end loader is a plus.
• Prior experience in hands-on, outdoor/indoor yard/warehouse, operational work or similar environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent of education and experience.
• Must pass background screening and drug screening.
