Responsibilities

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to entry.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Set invoices up for payment.
  • Answer payroll questions for team members and interact with the payroll department.
  • Ensure the distribution of paychecks or arrange direct deposit programs.
  • Review and audit payroll records for accuracy and updates.
  • Monitor and maintain the timely issuance of property payroll checks and assure the resolution of payroll related problems.
  • File, copy, scan, and assist in general clerk duties for the Finance Department.
  • Scan paperwork to Revenue Audit.
  • Run Reports for Revenue Audit.
  • Support other departments on company policies and procedures, respond to requests for information, and prepare special reports for management.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Work as a team member.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the New York State Lottery.
  • Ability to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and inference.
  • Ability to create, read and analyze spreadsheets of statistical data.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintain reports upon request.
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Skills

  • Knowledge of standard accounts payable processes.
  • Fluency in English required, second language a plus.
  • Ability to do multiple tasks.
