Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Manage building security needs, including card access and camera systems
- Oversee and select subcontracted work
- Establish and communicate health and safety procedures per OSHA standards and company policies
- Collaborate with management to ensure smooth operations
- Support development or improvement of facility projects
- Perform routine building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC service, and grounds keeping
Requirements
- 5 years of related work experience
- Experience in industrial or commercial equipment maintenance and repair
- Experience with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, security, and computer systems
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a physical examination
Skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and listening skills
- Technical knowledge of facility systems and preventative maintenance practices
