About the Role
The Executive Director, Brand Partnerships will lead the revenue-driving team, combining strategic selling, team leadership, and revenue operations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about lifestyle and parenting content, possesses a builder's mentality, and is energized by developing go-to-market strategies and selling a vision.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by selling advertising and branded content with a focus on new business generation and top-tier account relationships.
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership to design and execute revenue strategies, go-to-market plans, and product development.
- Create sales and marketing collateral and decks, with a deep understanding of insight-based pitching.
- Lead and coach the sales team with hands-on mentorship, driving them to personal growth and revenue success.
- Build and optimize revenue operations in partnership with the CEO, including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM hygiene, and performance reporting.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through to campaign completion.
- Manage a healthy book of business with autonomy and against a defined P&L.
- Leverage relationships at brands and agencies across categories, with a focus on CPG + Finance.
- Maintain sales goals and weekly activity by consistently developing/refining sales strategies and be a driving force on the Motherly team.
Requirements
- Built and closed new business from scratch, bringing in accounts and categories that didn't exist on the roster before.
- Sold in brands as the launch partners for new social video franchises, live events, or other original IP.
- Ability to create own proposal decks and strategic plans independently, with minimal hand-holding, when necessary.
- Pipeline and client list reflect real relationship equity built and carried across categories or platforms.
- Creative, idea-first seller who pitches concepts and IP rather than impressions — someone who thinks beyond the standard media plan.

Salary/Compensations
- $170K - $400K
