About the Role
The Property Accounting Associate-Support contributes to the organization's success by managing administrative tasks that support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes within the Central Services department.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to an assigned portfolio of properties across a variety of AP, AR, and administrative tasks.
- Leverage a customer support ticketing system to resolve internal and external support inquiries courteously and efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Assist with monitoring and processing vendor refunds for all managed entities.
- Reverse or reapply resident receipts in the Yardi platform as needed.
- Decide the acceptance or rejection of resident payments in the ClickPay queue based on company guidelines and criteria.
- Mail back or deposit resident payment items received from ClickPay and other miscellaneous payments.
- Correspond with internal teams to resolve customer/vendor challenges and proactively identify opportunities to advance systems and processes.
- Assist in developing analytics to track and monitor performance.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property management and/or AP and AR.
- Experience with Yardi preferred, with OneSite/RealPage a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data.
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer.
- May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment.
- Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check as local and federal state requires.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver.
