About the Role
This role focuses on HVAC/R and Facilities Maintenance within modern, standardized commercial kitchen facilities. It offers a mix of hands-on repair, system troubleshooting, and facility support, with opportunities for growth into leadership roles. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems (WIC/R, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites
- Support refrigeration and kitchen ventilation systems
- Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work
- Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues
- Provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendors
- Review reports (startup, testing, balancing) to verify system performance
- Assist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality
- Identify issues early and coordinate corrective actions
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
- Experience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration (WIC/F)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally

Experience Level

Salary/Compensations
- $32.00 - $45.00/hour + Overtime
