About the Role
At Rocscience, we're seeking a Workplace Coordinator for our Toronto office. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for employees and visitors, ensuring the office operates seamlessly and reflects our company's professionalism and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming face of Rocscience, greeting employees, candidates, customers, investors, Board members, and other guests.
- Create a warm, professional, and engaging experience for all office visitors.
- Manage daily office operations, including coordinating vendors, building management, office supplies, and maintenance.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues with minimal direction.
- Coordinate office services, deliveries, meeting rooms, catering, and workplace logistics.
- Support employee onboarding, office events, celebrations, and company gatherings.
- Foster an office culture that encourages employee connection and enjoyment.
- Build positive relationships across departments and become a trusted resource.
- Support visiting executives, investors, and Board members, ensuring professional and hospitable interactions.
- Continuously seek improvements in office operations and the employee experience.
- Manage day-to-day execution of culture initiatives like celebrations, team events, and traditions.
- Handle incoming mail, courier services, shipments, and office communications.
- Act as a culture ambassador by gathering employee feedback and proposing ideas to leadership for morale and engagement.
- Partner with IT, Facilities, HR, and Leadership to support workplace initiatives and company priorities.
