About the Role

Scale our Workday reporting infrastructure by extracting raw workforce data, auditing data quality, and supporting visualization initiatives. Bridge the gap between back-end data and high-level strategy, collaborating with HR leaders, Finance, and cross-functional teams to deliver insights that advance business goals and enrich the employee experience. Shape how our business uses data to power people strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain custom Workday reports across various Workday modules.
  • Utilize Workday’s advanced reporting tools, including Advanced, Matrix, Trending, and Composite report types.
  • Develop end-to-end solutions by translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient reporting solutions.
  • Extract data from Workday and other HR systems, analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data quality checks and validation procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor report performance, optimizing complex calculated fields.
  • Maintain and evolve report inventory management practices.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance audit reports that support a wide range of audit controls.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to develop scalable, accurate, and consistent audit reporting processes.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Workday reporting capabilities.
  • Partner with People Business Partners, Finance, IT and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
  • Support business initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations and analysis.
  • Conduct Knowledge transfer sessions to promote data literacy and support the development of best reporting practices.
  • Work as a strategic partner to stakeholders and contribute to the execution of the Insights roadmap initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in the Workday reporting ecosystem and large data sets.
  • Expert-level proficiency in creating complex Calculated Fields, with a mastery of Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query).
  • Proven track record of building and managing high-stakes reports.
  • Experience in maintaining data integrity across enterprise HR systems and conducting audits.
  • Experience working within or closely with a People function, handling highly confidential data, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR lifecycles and people data metrics.
  • English proficiency is required.

Salary/Compensations

  • $90,000 TO $100,000 CAD
