About the Role

A family in Austin is seeking a full-time Professional Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for their three daughters. The role involves driving, planning activities, and assisting with routines. The position is expected to evolve into a Household Manager/Personal Assistant role, managing family schedules, logistics, and organization. This is a long-term, year-round position for an experienced career nanny who genuinely loves working with children and wants to become a trusted part of the family.

Responsibilities

Safely drive children to and from school, activities, appointments, and playdates.
Plan fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and outdoor play.
Prepare healthy snacks and simple meals for the children.
Assist with homework, bath time, and bedtime routines.
Encourage children to tidy and organize their bedrooms, play areas, and belongings.
Assist with occasional family errands and light meal preparation.
Pack and help children prepare for family travel.
Travel with the family, including extended periods in Sun Valley, Idaho during the summer.
Maintain children's routines while traveling.
Provide occasional overnight care when both parents are traveling.
Communicate with parents regarding schedules, activities, and important updates.
Assist with family scheduling, logistics, and organization as the role evolves.

Requirements

Significant professional nanny experience.
Experience caring for multiple young children.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to become certified.
Comfortable regularly driving children.
Comfortable supervising children around water.
Comfortable providing occasional overnight care.
Available to travel with the family, including extended periods in Sun Valley, Idaho during the summer.
Interested in building a long-term career with one family.
