About the Role
In this essential role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of production tasks within a factory setting, primarily at designated workstations. Your duties will include handling and storing goods and raw materials, setting up production equipment such as robots and inspection tools, and ensuring that all manufacturing processes comply with established safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform arc welding on stainless steel using MIG/MAG
- Perform pre-welding assembly and tack welding
- Conduct visual inspection of welds and quality assurance, including self-inspections
- Guide junior welders and maintain robotic equipment
- Perform all assembly tasks and other manufacturing requirements as instructed
- Prepare and maintain production areas and equipment
- Perform manufacturing tasks as scheduled by the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system
- Perform operations within alignment of the work instructions
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process
- Identify parts
- Promptly report any deviations or quality concerns to the Team Lead
- Pack finished vehicles and/or parts for shipment
- Complete tally sheets when required
- Adhere to 5S, ESD and EHS regulations
- Perform self-inspections
- Maintain special process qualifications as required
Requirements
- Successful completion of Weld testing
- Special process certification required: Torquing (all operators)
- Special process certification required: Crimping (electrical)
- Special process certification required: Riveting (only trained and certified)
