About the Role
Responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) programs.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safety, training and performance of all assigned employees, including contractors.
- Work closely with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure successful operation of the plant.
- Monitor reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.
- Participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment.
- Manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography, etc.) to ensure optimum equipment availability.
- Analyze and eliminate repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA, and similar techniques.
- Support and guide sustainable improvements in MTBF of major equipment.
- Facilitate continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability.
- Provide ongoing reports on the CBM program status.
- Gather input and facilitate task completion through others.
- Research solutions to technical problems.
- Coordinate SAP system operations in the area of preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization and development with maintenance planners.
- Provide technical support, training, and development for maintenance functions with a specific focus on entrenching reliability concepts within the maintenance group.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Promote a culture of safety and exhibit safety behaviors.
Requirements
- Supervisory experience in the industry.
- Experience in FFT analysis of vibration spectra on a range of heavy industrial plants.
- Experience in the practical application of FMEA, NDT inspection techniques preferred.
- Working knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, motors, starts, and VFDs preferred.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
- Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
