About the Role

In the Technical Editor position, you’ll work alongside our technical staff to prepare and deliver technical reports and other documentation on various projects across the organization. You will review, edit, and strategically assemble technical documents into readable, concise, and professionally formatted documents. Success requires strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also need to be highly collaborative and communicate effectively with colleagues across various provinces, countries, and time zones.

Responsibilities

Review and edit technical reports, and other technical documentation
Develop, format, and edit large, complex documents, and publish reports
Prepare report templates ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements
Work together with Subject Matter Experts to ensure timely production and delivery of reports

Requirements

Familiarity with regulatory reporting for the mining industry
Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple competing priorities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Skills

Strong proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and writing tools
Superior written communication skills, with ability to translate complex narratives and build strong content tailored to the needs of the teams and clients
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with high attention to details
