About the Role

The Manager, Growth and Go-to-market (GTM) will lead the end-to-end execution and management of all growth, and GTM initiatives for Manulife Bank, implementing strategies to drive sales and revenue and leveraging technology, including AI, to automate workflows and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of GTM strategies for digital sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and enhancing engagement across the journey.
  • Monitor the progress, health, and sustainability of the overall strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GTM strategies are cohesive and supported by well-aligned offerings.
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure all initiatives are delivered on time and in full (OTIF) and meet strategic goals.
  • Partner with distribution and customer success teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and enhanced advisor experience.
  • Identify and address risks and dependencies, proactively resolving issues to keep initiatives on track.
  • Lead Agile operations for growth initiatives, including sprint planning, backlog management, and daily standups.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as retrospectives, reviews, and refinement meetings to drive continuous improvement and team alignment.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Delivery and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of initiatives and alignment with broader business goals.
  • Monitor sprint progress, resolve blockers, and ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery of tasks and initiatives.
  • Maintain and prioritize the backlog, ensuring it reflects strategic priorities and delivers business value.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging feedback and innovation.
  • Design and implement scalable processes to support Agile delivery and GTM execution, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Continuously assess and optimize workflows, removing inefficiencies and introducing best practices.
  • Leverage technology, including existing AI capabilities to automate workflows, streamline operations, and drive efficiency for the team.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and workflows to enhance collaboration and accountability across teams.
  • Drive process innovation by identifying gaps and opportunities to improve delivery speed, quality, and impact.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to align on priorities, gather input, and drive buy-in for initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of efforts.
  • Act as a bridge between strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in GTM strategies and execution, ideally within a growth-focused environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate priorities and updates to stakeholders.
  • Experience in building and optimizing processes, with a track record of leveraging technology and AI to enhance efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the end-to-end and complex delivery of growth initiatives.
  • Experience in leading Agile operations, including sprint planning, backlog management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Salary/Compensations

  • $85,300.00 CAD - $135,300.00 CAD
  • Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
  • The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
