About the Role

The successful candidate will teach courses in the School of Engineering programs within the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering course materials, administering assessments, submitting grades, developing curriculum, designing/revising courses, creating an effective learning environment, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver course materials based on supplied learning outcomes.
• Administer assessments in a timely fashion and submit grades.
• Teach, develop curriculum, and design/revise specific courses.

Requirements

• Polytechnic post-secondary teaching experience, or equivalent experience as a trainer in industry.
• Engaging and effective teaching skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and support students.
• Demonstrated experience managing classroom dynamics.
• Strong knowledge and application of current pedagogical principles.
• Student-focused approach.
